The workshop of Optopath is renewed!!

To create this prototype, I first designed all its parts in 3D. The frame and wheels were printed with a 3D printer, while the axles and platform were machined on the lathe and milling machine. The printed parts have also required minor machining work, drilling, sanding, etc.

The final versión of this prototype will allow researchers to perform electrophysiological recordings in vivo while the mouse is moving on the treadmill.

The function of these custom-made camera holders is to fix the cameras in height in behavior boxes at an exact point that can be done in a reproducible manner.
